On June 3rd, 2022, the IGWS had an Open House to welcome the public and invited guests to tour the facilities and talk with staff about their work. The event opened with a series of lightning talks, and the presentation of a plaque commemorating the 185th anniversary of the IGWS. There was a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Learning Lab.
